Trainings and Workshops
AI Essentials for People-Centered Work
A clear, nontechnical introduction to generative AI for professionals whose work depends on trust, judgment, and human connection. Participants learn what AI can and cannot do, where it can save time, how to protect sensitive information, how to navigate ethical concerns, and how to review outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.
Best for: Large staff groups, conference breakout sessions, organizations beginning their AI education.
Applying AI to Your Role
A practical, scenario-based session tailored to your organization. Participants explore workflows relevant to their day-to-day work, learn effective prompting, and apply clear guidelines for what information can be shared, how AI-generated work should be reviewed, and when AI should be avoided.
Best for: Professional development days, department training, and groups seeking practical examples without individual laptop participation.
Hands-On AI Workshop
For organizations that already have an approved AI tool, participants bring a laptop and work through guided activities using realistic, de-identified examples. They will build and refine prompts, evaluate outputs, and leave with at least one repeatable workflow. Privacy, ethics, and human oversight are reinforced throughout all exercises.
Best for: Small to midsize groups and organizations seeking immediate application rather than general knowledge.
Custom conference sessions and leadership briefings on AI policy, guardrails, and responsible adoption are also available.
“The AI in Schools session was one of the most engaging presentations of the HCPS School Based Mental Health Summer Symposium. Tasha demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge while providing practical examples of how artificial intelligence can support school social workers, school counselors, and school psychologists in their daily work. Participants left the session feeling informed, inspired, and excited about the potential of AI to enhance services for students and schools.”

ABOUT TASHA
I combine more than a decade of people-centered professional experience with hands-on work in AI quality, evaluation, and training.
As a social worker who spent much of my career in medical and educational settings, I never expected to find myself working in AI. My work had always centered on people, relationships, and human judgment – the opposite of working in tech. Or so I thought. That changed when my curiosity about generative AI led to a temporary project helping train AI models to better understand social work. The opportunity quickly grew into a new direction for my career, where I could combine AI with human-centered work.Since then, I’ve worked at the intersection of AI and people-centered practice, presented at conferences and led professional trainings, and been featured by Bloomberg Businessweek for my work in the field.Today, I help professionals make sense of rapidly changing technology and use it in ways that are practical, ethical, and genuinely useful. My trainings focus on preserving confidentiality, sound professional judgment, and human connection while helping teams use AI to do what they do best – help others.
